Friend Tech: Flash in the Pan or Something More?
Alright, let’s get weird for a second.
Friend Tech is a cryptocurrency application that launched on Coinbase’s (NYSE: $COIN) blockchain about 2 weeks ago. I posted an X thread here. Take 15 seconds, read it quickly, and get up to speed…
Friend Tech (@friendtech) is a new crypto-based social platform going mega-viral
♦️Over the last 24 hours, it’s generated $1.4 MILLION in fees💰🤯
Here’s a short, step-by-step guide (with additional resources) to understand what’s happening…

Here’s why I think this is interesting - if you remember, we’ve had several “moments” over the last few years: NBA Top Shot, NFTs, GameStop, etc.
In those moments, financial speculation (folks can make money participating), application utility (there’s a reason to participate), and virality (everyone is talking about it at once) all combined to create a perfect storm.
There’s evidence to suggest that this could happen once again with Friend Tech…
6/ Friend Tech only launched 12 days ago, but it already has:
• 1M+ total transactions
• $65M in total trading volume
• 90,000+ unique traders— Milk Road (@MilkRoadDaily)

90,000 unique users in 12 days - that’s insane!
This has the potential to get really explosive, and if done right, usher in a new era where creators/artists/musicians/etc. can offer ways for their earliest and most dedicated subscribers to receive exclusive access AND share in the creator’s upside.
This is REALLY early days, and it’s very possible that Friend Tech is forgotten next month.
But, there’s a chance Friend Tech (or something similar) has its mega moment. Keep an eye on my Twitter/X feed - as interesting developments occur, I’ll keep you updated.

How 3D Printing Changed this Dog’s Life - This Video Will Make Your Week
I originally was going to include this video in my Can’t Miss Links, but it’s so special that it deserved it’s own section.
Through the use of iPhone technology, custom design software, and 3D printers, 3D Pets makes CUSTOM prosthetic limbs for animals - dogs, cats, pigs, even elephants.
The most amazing part? These are priced anywhere from $100 - $1,000/$2,000 per animal; an extremely approachable price-point for a prosthetic limb.
The world needs to hear more stories like this, and I’m proud to be able to showcase it in this week’s CC.
Thank you Marques for bringing this story to the world ❤️
Three Quotes & Ideas to Consider
“The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on unreasonable men.”
