That means Fantasy Football is BACK!

Beats, Rhymes & Life: A Tribe Called Quest Documentary

If you didn’t know, I’m a massive 90s hip-hop fan, and A Tribe Called Quest is one of my favorite groups from that era. Songs like Can I Kick It?, Check the Rhime, Award Tour, and Electric Relaxation are iconic, and will never get old in my eyes (or I guess ears?).

A few years ago, I stumbled across this documentary on ATCQ and was absolutely blown away.

Directly by Michael Rapaport, Beats, Rhymes & Life explores everything Tribe - the music, the come-up, the triumphs and the drama.

I can not recommend it enough. With a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes, I promise this is well worth your time. It’s compelling, nostalgic, interesting and inspiring.

Three Quotes & Ideas to Consider

“Remember that if you don’t prioritize your life…someone else will.”

Greg McKeown, Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less

“Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes…working jobs we hate to buy shit we don’t need…”

See you next week!
